RAM International Scoop Stretcher
Patients who require spinal immobilization benefit greatly from the comfort and safety of the Scoop Stretcher (Clamshell). The Scoop reduces the need for log-roll movements, which greatly reduce cervical spine movement. The Scoop is constructed from composite materials that are X-ray transparent, lightweight, and high-impact. Operators may bring the two halves together beneath the patient and gently scoop them up thanks to the two hinged, interlocking components.
